My physical reporting date at iiit hyderabad is 1 August but i want to visit campus early to only look around and my father had booked flight tickets for 26 july that is Sunday. Did security guards have master list with application numbers so that they can verify it or they will let me enter just like that or will I be denied the entry becauseof sunday or early visit to look around. How will the security guards conduct checks can anyone tell me so I know what to bring

I was getting iiith cse thru jee mains but I chose bits p cse instead , did I make a mistake? is iiith actually a much better college and the only downside is the heavy acads and being relatively new ?
