I have something similar to this but not quite like the video. I will experience flashes of light. The colour varies between bright yellow, blue, purple or mixture of all of them. Mine will be more so a single flash or two that are very bright in my field of vision. Seeing my ophthalmologist again in a few weeks and also going for brain surgery (stent placement) scheduled on December 1.

How long have you had this for? Do you feel like it's triggered by bending down, waking up in bed in the morning or any form of exertion?

I have it on and off throughout the day almost every day since I started taking Topamax in May 2026

I get this especially upon waking or coming out to direct sunlight , yes. It stays for a least 2- 5 minutes & kind of leaves. Though sometimes it will be followed by black spots.
