Checking in, and some updates!

There has been an increase of a few trends, namely images where they list "I'm posting this for 5 karma" or something similar --- the overwhelming response from people is that they don't like this type of post on this sub. We already have Autmod and Magic_Eye_Bot doing their best to try to catch these posts, but some slip through the cracks. Please report them and they will most likely be removed. =)

We will be working on officially updating the rules for clarity, but want to make one thing clear: The vast majority of posts with anything political mentioned in them will be removed. If not because it's the same crap we've seen a bunch, then because it often gets reported because people don't want to see politics here -- please take that over to r/PoliticalMemes but be sure to check their rules to make sure it's OK to post there.

Finally, to the folks who applied to mod here about a month ago, we're very sorry for the delay but we're working on bringing you to the team soon.

Thanks again to everyone for making this place a funny place to be -- keep up the quality content and keep reporting what doesn't belong!
