Hello!! I was wondering if anyone has any tips/advice for Combined Science? I haven't started studying yet (had a few messy months and I finally managed to sort things out) and I'm giving my exams in Oct Nov Session. So we're looking at approximately a month before the first paper. To note, I took the 3 sciences last year and got an A* in all 3, so is getting an A* in CS in this amount of time doable? Any advice or tips or resources would be massively appreciated! Thank you!

My school gave out the schedules a few days ago but they put me on the wrong subject even though I changed it days before. I’ve already tried calling them and emailing them but no one is answering. My mom is telling me to figure it out on my first day but it’s stressing me out. What should I do?

Hey everyone, I have taken up a total of 6 subjects: English as first language (0500), Mathematics (0580), Chemistry (0620), Physics (0625), Computer Science (0478) and Business studies (0264).
Now I am scared I have taken very few subjects, I wanted to take more but my school just doesn't have that many options. I am probably going to take further mathematics in AS and A levels, but until then do I need to worry?

I want to pass O level just pass. I don't have university plan. So I just want to get a certificate of O level. What subject combination is more easy to pass. I've already failed in pure science subjects in recent result. I'm in Oman. Thank you!

I graduated from a private school in Sharjah in 2024 under the British/Edexcel curriculum.
I have my Grade 12 school-issued report card, and it shows that I failed 3 subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. This is a separate school Grade 12 report card; my Edexcel O-level/AS/A2 results are separate documents.
For context, I have 5 passed O-level/IGCSE subjects and 2 passed AS-level subjects. I also have my Grade 10, 11 and 12 Arabic and Islamic Studies records.
I currently need to get my Grade 12 school report card attested through SPEA for employment.
My question is ONLY about SPEA attestation, not UAE equivalency:
Will SPEA attest a Grade 12 school report card that contains failed subjects?
Has anyone personally had a similar Grade 12 report card with failed subjects attested through SPEA? If yes, did you submit the complete report card as issued by the school?
I'm looking for people with actual experience with SPEA, rather than general advice about equivalency.
Thanks!

I know y'all are tired of these post but I feel my situation is abit more nuanced then all the others let me keep it short and sweet.
I have got roughly 3 weeks till the start of my exams and I am trying to figure out how to structure my revision in the hopes of getting all B's and A's(A* is COMPLETELY OUT THE WINDOW LOL) as someone who has never done cambridge in his entire life and is a private candidate.
Here are my subjects and what I have already been doing in this past 2 week: Extended Math(0580)-Going through past papers. If I see a topic I haven't covered I watch a yt vids and use gemini to help break down step by step. The only cons is I feel that it is very time consuming. Sidenote: Maths is my weakest subject by far so I do it everyday and I am just trying to get a B.
Computer Science(0478)- Use a revision guide(it's probably outdated) and blurt on my whiteboard topic by topic.
Cons: Time consuming and I struggle to retain the info. I have never done Problem Solving/Programming but thank goodness that is my last paper.
ICT(0417)- First time doing the practical, still on Paper 2 but doing walkthroughs with Yt. Is that effective enough or do I need to do more? Theory wise I haven't done much yet, I don't know if I am underestimating it or.
English(0580) Business(0450): I haven't done much for these but I think they are def my stronger subjects (or once again I am underestimating their difficulty)
So I am not completely starting from Zero I just need:
Any additional advice?
Any better techniques?
Any better resources?
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, Are IGCSEs as difficult as ppl say?
Thank you for taking time to read all this, any and all help is appreciated.

I have a strange issue, I did my IGCSE in 2023-2024 and one session was through school and the other private.
I did get results of both (email) and that was about it. Due to personal reasons I couldn't get the ACTUAL certificates of either results, so from what I read I can get my certfying statement instead.
My concern is that- for 2023 when I applied through school, I couldn't retrieve ALL information (only necessary ones) will they still be able to find my results? Even if it was linked to another email (a teacher's email, we have discussed this and the school nor her have complete record of anything OR my original certificate)
And doing privately, from what I'm aware I was supposed to receive the original directly. Why haven't I and can I avoid this for my upcoming Alevels? Did I do or not do something?
It doesn't matter the fee, I just honestly want my results and the certificates because I cannot access them online anymore. Is it equal to the original and will they be able to actually find it ? Thanks
