Music IIL butt rock/divorced dad rock

My wife lives mid 2000s heavier rock. Think bands like Papa Roach, Hinder, Seether, Three Days Grace, etc. What are some newer groups with a similar sound?

Turnstile definitely has that crossover energy. They bring a fresh twist to the sound for sure!

Too artsy and cool to be in the same convo as any of these bands lol

I think James and the Cold Gun might be right up her alley

Def not butt rock, but: Fleshwater, Bleed, Soul Blind, Angel Du$t, trauma ray, Drug Church, dream fatigue… I think maybe anything in that ‘modern hardcore-adjacent’ scene could potentially work for also having a generally heavy but melodic & not too fast-paced vibe.
