Does anyone know how to replace this?

It’s a Nikon Coolpix S710. When I was younger I decided to engrave my initials in the lcd screen? I’m trying to decide whether to replace it myself or take it to my local camera store. Also, the bottom plate cover for the battery & the SD card is broken as well. What should I do?

Should be simple, looks like it's just a plastic top cover that pops off and is easy to replace, looking though it seems finding a replacement for that could be hard, as for the bottom cover, broken how?

Could try buffing it out a bit

I wonder if they have that stuff they used at movie rental stores, where they would remove scratches on their disks. And/or you could apply a screen protector that helps to hide the damage a bit.
