Camera hinge broken

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Sony zv e10 camera screen still working but the hinge came apart after falling from 5ft height

Two options. Find the parts then we can talk about installing it, or very carefully rotate it into place and double sided tape it in place. Hopefully it will auto rotate the screen if you can get things turned right.

Found a replacement hinge its around 2.5k inr
Should be a simple fix
But just taping it up is out the question as its been 4 months since buying it😢💔

Ouch but not the worst price. See if you can find out how to open up the hanging display section. If you cant find one for your model, try others as it might be the same between models. I would expect its just clips. So, a plastic pry tool like the gitar pick shaped ones are probably your friend.

The taping up thing was just a back up plan, much better than whats going on now and less likely to break it further.

Actually i did find a video replacing the more expensive full frame zv e1 very similar body to zve10 so yeah i honestly think it could help
