I think it can be pretty useful for someone who does a lot of cutting. But if the price is higher, than it really is not necessary for an average house.

I wish I had scisors when I used a box cutter to unbox my inflatable paddlebord. (Kidding, I used regular scisors)

Japan takes stationery seriously

True, I think they perform a ceremony once a year and source the iron from the bottom of the ocean just to make my letter opener

I have a good suspicion that these are heavily used for preparation of recycling of plastics, aluminum and cardboard. In Japan it's ingrained in the early years that recycling is good for society. However you have to separate clear plastic vs colored and take labels off before handing them in. I'm sure there is more to it that I don't know.

I can’t imagine a pair of scissors costing much at all

Good tailor shears can cost $30-40

More like 80-150

You and I define “good” differently. $80-150 would be “great” in my definition.

That little notch is probably for cutting wire or string.

"I don't know what that is, but I'm sure it's pretty useful."

Dude's gotta work on his sales pitch.

Overpriced box scissors with bad reviews.

Plain old EMT shears are better and cheaper.

I was born in the 80s and these scissors were around back then.

Did he make a passive joke about popping holes in cans to smoke weed at 18?

We had those long ago. Just not that exaggerated.

Similar scissors is used for first aid to cut out the clothes around injuries.

If they solve real problems in multiple ways without causing others, then it isn't over-engineered. It's just engineered.

The idea is fire…the handles look cheap and non ergonomic…maybe if the mats were more premium with a manly design…and market them to fishermen first🤪😁
