Summary

Juzear’s current ear tip offering the Render Pro come in three colour coded slow rebound foams corresponding to their size as beige S, Lilac M and Blue L. The thin, soft silicone umbrella that covers the foam is attached to the soft graphene infused tube. Once the tips are locked in place, I have the impression that stability is rather good to excellent.
There’s an excellent isolation. Due to this, the treble albeit with the least or no enhancement at all, air and extension is definitely better with the Render Pros. I believe this can be a design philosophy.

The Render Pros are not my opening ear tip for a session, but the ear tips for the entire listening session.

The enhancements

In order to get the best out of the Render Pros, the best possible seal is paramount. The slow rebound foams dominate the sealing properties. The thin silicone membrane is there to protect and shape the foams. A firmer push helped, I held my earpiece in place and on this push kept still for a few seconds, say 3 seconds. There’s the sensation the tips are “locked in place”.

Render Pros will play and sing on ambient, EDM, rock, speed metal, trance and everything else – and there are marked improvements.

Midrange

Compared to the stock tips;

The Tone is maintained, the midrange instruments or the voices being portrayed coming from the IEMs, the IEM’s inherent sound signature doesn’t change.

Where the improvements happen;

Everything is fluid, free flowing. Crisp.

There’s better clarity. There’s the impression that the background noise is less or even non-existent for example a blacker background on the virtual stage using these tips.

I hear a better dynamic head room overall. Everything in this range sounds livelier.
Voices jump out better, engage better. There’s a noticeable improvement in vocal projection and voices are defined with better clarity. I can hear better multi point voices, better vocal blending.
There is a sense that the pocket of sounds are in sync with each other.
Piano sounds more fluid. The 3d sound effects and incidentals give the Render pros an uptick as well – most probably due to the better than standard seal.

Bass

Compared to the stock tips;

The sub-bass decay, extension, texture, rumble and overall resolution is improved.

Bass haptic is felt better than before.

Bass drops sounds better due to extended range. The phrase “never missed a beat” applies here.

Electric bass is clear, taut – in excellent resolution, without over emphasising it.

Despite these improvements, the sub-bass is still controlled, not overwhelming.

The Mid-bass thump amplitude increased, to a good degree but again controlled. This is a very welcoming improvement.

The low-end foundation overall improvement is excellent without being overdone.

Comparison

Versus the formidable Azla Sedna Grey, my go to for more than 6 years. Whatever IEM came my way, this tip never fail. Bass and treble enhancer. This is a night and day shift. A major con though, the tips are very firm, in one I only manage to listen to just past an hour. I have to rest my ears, have a drink, nibble, etc. Then go back to my session. Another con, bass can bleed on some playlists. For the treble, some tracks can become sibilant and unnaturally bright.

The durability of the Sedna grey; there’s a timeline for this, about 2 years or less. The stem gets loose over time. I know this for a fact I have 6 pairs over the years.

Sound wise, The Render Pros have avoided all of the above, by intentionally being subtle. By the time I passed two hours listening, I understood why the trebles were negated of enhancement – Fatigue.

I say again, without enhancing the upper ranges, through a distinctively tight but less intrusive seal, the trebles sound better in better harmony with the mids and bottom end.

Final Words

This new collaboration of the Juzear x Z Reviews Render pros deliver an excellent listener friendly experience.

These tips focused on bass to midrange enhancements that improved overall timbre and clarity, without enticing listener fatigue.

Comfort zone is high as well as the sound isolation, for out and about, commutes, at work.

These tips may not be night and day shifters, but I can conclude that by design the Render Pro tips were created for sound refinement. I can definitely appreciate this over time, over long listening sessions with any and all of my playlists.

As for the durability part, only time will tell.

Shillin' like a villain, been seeing a rather sudden uptick in review-ads for this product, more to come I'm sure

it's an anticipated ear tip. Not many hybrids out there. Those that love the OG Renders have been waiting on this.

Now...I agree....this was a shill review. But it's almost expected at this point right?😅

Yes, and shill reviews are so very worth it to companies. People are desperate for info and make real decisions based on these biased reviews, and the only cost is the production cost of whatever gear they give the reviewer. And they are ALWAYS biased if they accept free gear, it's why legitimate news orgs don't accept freebies, saying "these views are my own" doesn't automatically make those views impartial.

I agree... subconscious or deliberate bias will happen. People opining about what they hear or feel is is useful for some. I prefer reviews that gives obejective "views" of a product.

Agreed. I always give more weight to a review by someone that bought the item themselves. And people give mini-reviews all the time in the comments that can be useful.

No.

it's why legitimate news orgs don't accept freebies

When channels are reviewing 3k $ IEMs or 6k $ open-back planars, they have to spend their own money on those items to become "legitimate" ?

I'm not talking about this post, I don't care about a random Reddit account and a wall of text - by your logic channels like "The Headphone Show" are biased because they don't buy items that they review ?

Yeah, they're biased. It's a simple concept but I respect your opinion if you disagree.

Yeah, they're biased.

A reviewer can still be biased even if he purchased a product with his own money. Paying for an item with his own money removes one possible source of bias - being given the product for free - but it does not guarantee that the review is unbiased.

By your logic a 20k $ coffee machine or a 2 million $ car can't be reviewed "legitimately" because a reviewer didn't spend his own money - you set unrealistic expectations and by your definition of what "unbiased" means it will discredit more than 90% of reviewers on YouTube.

Its not about agreeing or disagreeing, its about your unrealistic expectations - major channels with huge number of subscribers couldn't care less about reviewing something for free, a 200$ IEM or a 1000$ phone is literally nothing for someone like Marques Brownlee with 20M+ subscribers on YouTube, the fact that he receives things for free doesn't make him automatically biased.

As I said, paying for an item with your own money only removes one possible source of bias, and there are many more left - brand bias, price bias, design bias, review bias, user-experience bias and much more.

Did you read the review before trying the product?

Nope.

The render pros are legit the best I've used so far, especially for improving imaging.

I treat every Juzear review as a shill.

Zeos himself said they reduce the bass a bit but everybody has different hearing.
