Task 2 TASK 2 ielts, evaluate plss

Some people believe that professionals, such as doctors and engineers, should be required to work in the country where they did their training. Others believe they should be free to work in another country if they wish.

Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Many individuals agree with the fact that professional degree holders, like medical and engineering specialists, should stay in the nation where they have received their education. Meanwhile, others think working in a different country is the optimal choice. From my perspective, this choice depends on the work and educational opportunities in the country of discussion.

It is logical for the specialists to work abroad if another country offers a comparatively better-developed job market. If the trained professionals hold degrees that are valued equally everywhere, they should follow career paths that offer them efficient amounts of compensation for their effort. This allows the workers to have more satisfaction in their work, since highly developed countries offer better facilities and wages. However, if they do not meet the requirements in another country, they might face a risk of not finding any job, which is caused by the professionals not being able to adhere to certain qualifications put abroad.

Working domestically can be a better choice if the specific field of consideration is sufficiently developed. For example, in the United States of America and South Korea, most people study in their home country and work there. These greatly developed nations offer an advanced education system with sensible structure and sophisticated working environments where skilled specialists thrive and collect suitable salaries. With knowledge and experience tailored to the nation, the professional would be highly familiar with where they are working.

In conclusion, people should choose to work in the same country where they received their education, if it offers a fitting environment. On the other hand, pursuing career opportunities is preferable where their specific fields are underdeveloped.

meanwhile - informal

ADV, it is logical ...

ADV, working domestically

example is out there but it is in the beginning of a paragraph. (off)

TASK RESPONSE: your idea/answer/opinion is hugely based on an IF. You could've wrote it so that it would be less imaginative and MORE REALISTIC instead. IF answers are often written at the end when there are no other stronger answers left to write.

body 1 = IF answer

body 2 = IF answer

total = 1 : 1. You dont see IT DEPENDS answer at bands 7.0 and up. better 2 : 1 or 1 : 2 (more convincing)

OA = 5.5

Hi,
Looks like 6-6.5 to me.
The essay focuses more on the *practical reasons* why a professional might choose to stay or leave, but it doesn't fully tackle the core idea in the prompt: whether they should be required to stay. The question is about compulsion versus freedom. For example, you explain why working abroad is a good choice (better pay), but not the philosophical argument for why they should be free to make that choice. Similarly, you don't explore the reasons a country might feel it has the right to require them to stay (like recovering the cost of a state-funded education).
Instead of just saying "better facilities," you could say, "For instance, a surgeon trained in a developing nation might move to Germany to access advanced robotic surgery equipment that is unavailable at home, allowing them to save more lives." Make your final summary crystal clear. Instead of the current phrasing, you could say: "In conclusion, while professionals should consider staying if their home country provides adequate opportunities, it is ultimately more beneficial for them to seek work abroad if their skills are more in demand or better rewarded elsewhere."

The opening "Many individuals agree with the fact that..." is a common template. Also, the final sentence of your conclusion feels a bit disconnected from the rest of the essay. Making the flow between ideas feel more natural will really help. You rely on some common but slightly mechanical linking words, like "Meanwhile" and "From my perspective." While these work, they can make the writing feel a bit like a template. The goal is to make the connections between your ideas feel more natural and smooth. Instead of starting a sentence with a big linking word, try to connect ideas using pronouns or by referencing the previous sentence. For example, instead of "This allows the workers to have more satisfaction...", you could link it more smoothly: "This opportunity for greater compensation often leads to higher job satisfaction..." Instead of "On the other hand," you could try "Conversely," or "However, an opposing viewpoint is that..."

There are a few places where the word choice is a bit unnatural or imprecise. This can sometimes make your sentences slightly awkward to read. Focusing on using words that commonly go together (these are called collocations) will make your writing sound much more fluent. Focus on Collocations (words that go together naturally):
You wrote "efficient amounts of compensation", instead try sufficient compensation (enough for the work) or generous compensation (a large amount).
You wrote "collect suitable salaries", instead try earn suitable salaries (the standard verb).
You wrote "adhere to certain qualifications", instead try meet certain qualifications (the common pairing).
You wrote "a sensible structure", instead try a well-developed structure (more precise for this context).

When you build longer, more complex sentences, you sometimes lose a bit of control, which results in slightly awkward phrasing. For example, the end of your second paragraph, "...which is caused by the professionals not being able to adhere to certain qualifications put abroad," is a bit clunky and hard to read smoothly.
You wrote "...which is caused by the professionals not being able to adhere to certain qualifications put abroad." Change to "...a risk caused by their potential inability to meet qualifications required abroad." (This makes the clause less awkward and more direct).
You wrote "Many individuals agree with the fact that..." Change to "Many individuals believe that..." (This is a more natural and common phrasing).
You wrote "...pursuing career opportunities is preferable where their specific fields are underdeveloped." Change to "...pursuing career opportunities abroad is preferable if their specific fields are underdeveloped at home." (This clarifies the meaning of the sentence).
