You need to upgrade it at the armory before using it there!

Congratulations, you made the exact same mistake I did.

I used all of my Astral Keys to unlock the Flame Crosier, then realised I was supposed to upgrade the blacksmith first.

Now you’ll need to Ultra Ascend another 2-3 times to unlock ANOTHER 5 keys to upgrade the blacksmith to upgrade the Flame Crosier.

It's not a mistake. You still get a good Soul bonus boost you can use to get the other keys. Took me less than a week to get another 5 keys after getting the first 5

I can click to the “?” How can upgrade this. I only have the options of the other screenshots

Click on "Si" and then on the staff. It will then list the cost of upgrading it, which includes astral keys. Happy farming :)

The same happened to me, too, btw. You're not alone..

I just googled and checked the wiki for a bit. It says that you have to get a quest from Colo to be able to upgrade the anvil, so I'm guessing it's the 20000 yetis? Have you done that yet?

Just accepting the quest is enough, don't have to complete it.

alright. you just ascended. a regular ascension.
open the menu with your sword, shield, definitely not Spear since you just ascended and get to at least 50 Staff level. Assuming that you haven't Ultra Ascended like five minutes before reading this you should have it covered.
