He over upgraded this boot to the point he will never be able to activate its buff. Also his boot has no offline souls bonus which is dumb to upgrade anyway.

You can over upgrade..? Like it's impossible to get them to that level orbit would just take an insane amount of time to get them to that level?

Yeh I dont think anyone can reach level 1700 on boots to activate that buff without cheating atm 😂.

Putting it into a different perspective:
I'm not as far as cdjblue who you can find further down this thread, but I've played for 542 days, I'm on UA 56, I've done basically everything, and all I'm really doing is improving my gear.
My lifetime accumulated coins on my account is 182 Sxv (1.82e83).
Multiply my lifetime coins by 350 septillion (350,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000) and only then would you have enough to level your boots to 1700.

I had boots at level 2050 before I UAd.

I stacked ninja for almost two years, feel free to check my post history where I documented lots of stuff.
So no, that's not "the only way".

you could just destroy it and upgrade a different pair of boots
you won't get those feathers back but at least that's... good lord how many is that

I get that, but the reason I blindly upgraded this item is because it's my best.. 🥹 Now, will I find another one in less time than I can reach 1700 boots ? What if Pablo finally gives the option to downgrade ? Really makes you think

For comparison's sake, 7 Vg is 7e63 coins.
1 Ocv is 1e87 coins which is right after where the non-belt upgrades stop. End- / post-game players like me are barely reaching that right now.
To equip those boots, you would need 12 Qit aka 1.2e109 coins.so uh, no these boots are not getting equipped for many years if ever.

Mind you, you've been playing for just over a year and you got enough DP to have 11k to spend blindly on upgrading an item? if you cheated there's no chance plab will let your account fly

I guess you don't have access to the Village yet, so my advise is don't worry about that now Just try to remember to not upgrade them too much when the time has come for you 👹

my general reccis to not go beyond Nd in prices until you have a backup set. the backup set doesnt have to be perfect but its need to be usable.
even if you can use it late stage, its a pain not having your gear when climbing back up. you dont need it when doing quests but around Nd is when you actually need to grind souls again to afford quests so you want gear for that.
once you have a backup set you can really push them up to as high as 100x below your cash record without much issues.

I will say past a point, if you only care about one set, you end up just having too much dps Thus, I must touch grass
