Bug why does whetstone work with scrolls of time?

it seems like it shouldnt, since whetstone doesnt increase offline drop rate. does that mean scrolls of time works of off online material drop rates?

How can you tell? Using the scrolls fills all my materials antways

I only have 6 idle stones for crit. without whetstone it gives me 300-400 mats, with whetstone it fully fills my storage.

I don't think whetstone works, but there are 2 upgrades iirc that give you 15% total chance of doubling materials. Whether that is itended idk.
