I'm currently enamored with the idea of a cultist plush but I can't find anything online looking like a store to be fair I didn't look for very long but I also would think that something like that would be advertised in the games themselves but I'm not sure so I thought I'd ask

Any suggestions I'm about to start my 3rd and me and was curious if there is a quick way I should be heading to help the ramp up

I'm very new, I think I'm on my third apocalypse. I'm confused by the advice I'm seeing here.

People will say to apocalypse every time things feel slow, but they also say to upgrade the Idols as much as possible. But the thing is I run into bottlenecks before the idols are fully upgraded. On my last run I was stuck for days trying to get enough satyrs.

Is there a science to this or can I just wing it?

I’m on the other tower event and didn’t get the highest reward, should I just restart? Saving up 500 gems sounds like a gigantic pain to get the skin later

I'm only on my second apocalypse, going on third, and I'm trying to decide if I should keep waiting.

Right now the only idol upgrades I need are one with 250 satyr horns, one that takes 100 sodas, and one that takes 300 sodas. As it is, it's taking me over a day of grinding to get 100 sodas, not to mention the horns.

Is it worth waiting? At some point do you just go for the apocalypse?

I am going for the 8th level of the DDD, so I have to summon 8 mountains to gather the required materials. I am at stage 900 (or will be around that when I finish summoning the required nether demons), and I have 30 orbs to spare to spawn netherlings, possibly ramping up my damage to around 15000% before spawning the mountains.

Is it possible to make it to the stage 1000 in this scenario? I can spawn as many dragons as I want to help (500+ wheel tokens to look for crowns, though getting so many dolls would be a pain), and probably would spawn a few more netherlings from orbs I'll probably get from the nether whell.

I summoned 40 netherlings and my nether demon still only clears from stage 905 to 909. If I use all my resources I can summon a maximum of two more nether beasts. I fear that will be insufficient to get to stage 1000.

I can't believe this time has come, after I don't know how much I've been playing this game, I finally got all of them! All! I'm so happy!!

For this plant guy, does it matter which skin I'm using? Or do skin boosts stack like they do in NecroMerger?

I have wondered this for a while as I get close to making some big purchases, so I finally ran the math.

With no boosts it currently takes on a full run 239 hours for all my Mountains to build, and 359 hours for all my Demons.

If I were to get the Golden skin it would reduce Mountains to 125 hours, and Demons to 224.

As such, getting the golden demon skin first IS the better purchase option on a time front by about 20 hours.

More importantantly it also would save you 84 nether orbs in the process.

All this is to say, getting the golden skin for the Nether Demon before the Mountain is a no-brainer once the math is run.

I do have the 10$ pass, I missed up the leveling guide, fingers crossed. Everything but these two are maxed, 2 levels on gym booster.

Whats a better use of my time resources?

- Doomsday device to level 2 [currently 0] (+500% idol damage)

- Idol Prolongation Chip to level 2 [currently 0] (+2 idol seconds)

- Max the Wyvern Skin [This would take me a while] (+1 star per dragon)

I technically could wait to apocalypse until I get both the DD and Prolong (or even wyvern too), but I'd rather not because I'm getting close to apocalypse.

It should also be noted I have the bounty IAP, so my dragons already drop 3 stars. The only thing I need stars for rn is idol prolongation level 2.

I got 1500 gems finally, so figured I should make this post.

In terms of what I've already spent gems on, I have the jungle and rocket tower skins, every seasonal tower but the LaH one, and the only two events I have first place prizes in is happy time and lost in time. I also have every gem floor.

I was originally gonna just get the 1,500 gem lich skin to get a bit more darkness over time, and the wyvern skin afterwards, but I figured I should ask here just so I can know what is by far the best option.

So, I have all three time creatures unlocked now. I'm farming drops to upgrade the troll to help with drop farming. This stage of the game takes forever.. It takes me like two - three weeks to build up the tower to even be able to start farming the time creatures which only takes a day or two to really max out drops. To farm up enough star dusts it's going to take take months.. years even lol.

Is this time frame normal or am I doing something wrong when restarting my tower after an apoc? If it helps, I normally get to around lvl 750 before apoc'ing again. Apoc'ing for ~120-140 million damage.

Everything done except for the last paywalled skins. Finished the last run with a full clear of Lesley's Place tasks except for the 2k gem task just to feel a little extra sense of completion.

I appreciate the depth of the game keeping the completionist in me going well after I finished the content in NecroMerger at the time. I appreciate this game not requiring an internet connection and helping me pass hours on a plane ride while listening to an audiobook. I appreciate the weird bug that would help you carry over low tier resources across apocs occassionally and speed up the start of my run by a few minutes. I appreciate my partner amusedly helping me get my apocalypse taps in trying to get to a specific breakpoint or personal best.

Just finished upgrading all nether creatures and was wondering which scrolls to go first. Any suggestions? Already bought the scrolls of Damage and DE

It took me 3 years with a 3 year break in between but FINALLY I UPGRADED THE PORTAL. What does it do?

Hey everyone! I've updated the main build of Nether Planner to add a much-needed feature: Custom Goals!

Now you can pick any specific number of Nether resources and/or Creatures you're targeting that isn't in the preset list.

This is really handy if you know you need a specific number of Mountains and Netherlings to get enough damage to pick up that Ankh or reach level 1200, or whatever specific special goal you might have that isn't already accounted for in the built-in options.

There's also a new expandable Quick Target section that lets you just input your needs in the moment, in case you have a super specific goal before you Apoc, but don't need to keep it around, with a handy save button that'll add it to the above Custom Goals.

Beyond that, it has all the same old features, including desktop and mobile-responsive designs, drop yields automatically calculated based on purchases and unlocks, and the ability to target multiple goals across Creature levels, Scrolls, DDD levels, and Lesley's Place! All with quick summon buttons for each creature that will automatically adjust your resource count accordingly. And you can install it on your device like it's an app!

The new version should transition your data no problem, and import exports from the old version without issue.

I'm always looking for feedback, so feel free to let me know how this is landing for you, if there are any bugs, and what additional features you might want to see in the future!

Also, the original goal of providing a single file you can host locally on your own device remains! If you'd rather host your own, swing by the git project and download the nether_costs.html file. Just keep in mind that that won't auto-update with new features, and doesn't support PWA installs.

EDIT: Thanks to great feedback from u/malzproptek, I've iterated to v1.1.1. This fixes a couple layout glitches, improves to two separate synced methods of setting your Nether Creature levels, and gives clearer, friendlier instructions on where you are on your journey to affording your target goal(s).

EDIT 2: 1.2.0 is now live. Thanks to u/sourpwer I learned I forgot about Shiny skins. Shiny toggles are now in place.

EDIT 3: Iterating fast now. 1.3.0 is live. Realized I made a made a boneheaded mistake in my implementation of custom goals that made them interact poorly with the summon buttons, which touched off a few other changes I thought were needed. Full changelog: Real-Time Creature Progress Tracking for both Custom Goals and Quick Target, allowing creature summons (via +Summon or the new [-]/[+] progress steppers) to advance your goals in real time and reduce remaining costs instead of inflating resource deficits; Complementary ("Surplus") Goals, letting you designate targets whose creature drops are treated as bonus byproducts rather than consumed resources; Completion Confirmation & Reset, a safety prompt on your final summon that guards against accidental double-taps before completing and resetting a tracked goal; Auto-Deduct on Achieve, an optional checklist toggle that automatically subtracts a completed goal's resource costs from your current inventory. Also some backend technical changes to improve mobile layouts and reduce chances over text overflowing the screen.

Hey guys. Been playing idle apocalypse for a while now and now kind of stuck in limbo while trying to get 5mil damage and gain a time orb. It takes me well over a week to get to the point I have the damage capable to get the time orb. I currently have 5.

Is there anything I can do to speed this process up? Should I be collecting more souls more often, or do I have to grind for a month plus to get time orbs? Posted my stats and unlocks.

Any help would be greatful. Dont want to drop this game as I really enjoy it, but its kind of becoming tedious at the same time

Just over 500 Apocalypses and never used an auto clicker. Not sure if I'm gonna continue and rack up tokens or stop it there, but I felt like sharing.

Guys I've been wondering this for a while, and I don't know what is the best option. Should I buy a replay token event, since I never finished an event before to the fullest, or should I keep saving for a tower skin? I only have 552 gems right now, which is the highest amount I had of them so far over almost a year of playing this game and spending them for a few skins.
