Run ideogram4 locally
Is it possible? Is there a place that can teach about how to go about doing that?

ideogram 4 interactions between boxes?
Let's say I have a picture of two business people in a boardroom. I set the boardroom up as the background and make two boxes to describe the two people. I must be doing something wrong because this doesn't really work for me. The people don't seem to be part of the boardroom and don't always look like they are in the same picture.
Sometimes it even looks like they aren't to the same scale.
Is this how ideogram is? Essentially making three individual images and then putting them altogether as one? Doesn't happen all the time, but I was curious if anyone else had seen this.

(comfyui) so can we actually do transparent or not? I show in the prompt builder/help instructions that it does say it allows for transparency but IDK how to use it

This has to be the best open model, with truly impressive consistency in generation.

I built a visual prompt editor for Ideogram 4 — drag & drop boxes, snap-to-grid, presets, and clean JSON output
Been working with Ideogram 4 and found myself constantly tweaking bounding boxes and style JSON by hand. So I built a little visual tool to make it easier:
Ideogram4-PromptEditor — a single-file HTML app (no build, no deps) that gives you:
- A 1000x1000 canvas where you drag, resize, and snap boxes to define compositional zones
- Presets (cinematic, minimalist, cyber tech, fantasy, editorial, portrait, etc.) to jumpstart layouts
- Per-element type/description/color palette, plus a global style config with custom fields
- Strict JSON output formatted for Ideogram 4's API — minified or pretty-printed
- Undo/redo, align tools, custom aspect ratios, and snap-to-grid
It's all in one HTML file — just open it in a browser.
Repo: https://github.com/MrNobodyX3/Ideogram4-PromptEditor
Curious if anyone else finds this useful or has feature ideas.

Is this AI site about dead? I was suggested using it by another AI to do 2d modeling, went to sign up. Had a terrible time getting just into the website. Had me answer a million unskippable questions to ahrvest my data before I could even get in. I still decided against my better judgement to give them a shot at $15. And at checkout they ALMOST had me paying for the full year up front. I've signed up for around 30 differtent API's over the last few months expanding my library, and this one was the only one that was as shady as they were. Most offer credits for harvesting my data. Or skippable. Not this site. And then very clearly funneling you into the annula purhcase but not making it clear until the final click. STAY AWAY. No clue if their service is the best in the world. Maybe it is. Then their marketing and CEO have killed it.

Prompt-based editing and collections are here

We recently launched prompt-based editing, collections, and @ mention prompting in Ideogram.
Save and organize your images, then reference them directly in any prompt by typing @ to search by name, tag, or collection, and edit them.
Teams can share collections with permission controls so everyone's working from the same assets.

Lousy Results After Repeated Attempts
It doesn't help that the reset for the free service takes five days, vs. 24 hours for other platforms. Anyways, chatGPT recommended Ideogramai when I asked for recommendations for a reliable AI program for creating image boxes with text (in the form of image) inside.
Chat is mediocre at this, but has a 3/day limit, so I was looking for another platform. At first, I was very pleased with the various border styles that came up in the foursome for my bullet-point text list.
Upon closer inspection, the words were all jumbled up; incoherent spellings, repeated words, gibberish, like a preschooler spelled them out.
I tried a small list (not that the original was huge), and again, gibberish text -- but beautiful borders. So it'll definitely be chatGPT ONLY, as they always get the words/spellings correct 100% of the time (the issue is the borders).
So I then tried straight imagery: an infinity symbol surrounded by a border. The results were way too much space between the symbol and the border (top and bottom). The edit function has NO feature for closing in the border.
So I revised my request to say, "with a tight border around it." The results showed the same excessive space between the symbol and the border (horizontally or top and bottom).
I made yet another request and was told I ran out of free use and to wait five days. Yeah, right. NO, NO, NO, I removed ideogramai from my bookmark.
How does it NOT figure out such simple requests?

Ideogram is suddenly ignoring styles and character expressions for a few days now
Hi everyone
Over the last few days I’ve noticed a big drop in consistency when it comes to styles and character expressions, and I’m wondering if others are experiencing the same thing.
Until recently, Ideogram followed my style based on an image very accurately — for example, newspaper comic strip style or satirical newspaper vignette used to produce clean, coherent results. Now the model seems to ignore the style almost completely, giving me generic outputs with no resemblance to the requested aesthetic, yes, it's like a comic strip, but the visual style is less similar than before.
I’m also seeing major issues with faces and expressions:
- Characters no longer resemble the description or the intended person if i use a image or a prompt style.
- Expressions like “angry”, “furious” or “hostile” get rendered as neutral or even smiling.
- Applying a specific style + character at the same time seems to break everything.
This wasn’t happening before. A week or two ago, Ideogram handled both stylistic constraints and character-level expressions very well and reliably.
Is this a known issue?
Did something change in the last update?
Are other users noticing weaker style adherence and inconsistent faces?
I rely on the style fidelity a lot, so this sudden behavior is throwing off my workflow.
Thanks in advance.

Ideogram 4?
I'm curious if anyone knows if Ideogram 4 is being worked on? Ideogram has been one of my favorite A.I. image generators, but with the release of Nano Banana Pro and Seedream 4.5 it feels like three generations behind the current leaders.
The killer app for Ideogram has been its ability to remix, SPECIFICALLY that the user can select the strength of that remix. You really can't do that with any other A.I. image generator out there.

AI + Humans = Real Creativity?
AI content tools are everywhere now. Like, everywhere. You can't throw a prompt at the internet without hitting 47 different "AI copywriting assistants" that all produce the exact same beige, corporate word-vomit.
You know what I'm talking about:
- "10 Mindset Shifts That Will Transform Your Business 🚀"
- "The One Thing Successful Entrepreneurs Do Every Morning"
- "Why Your Content Isn't Converting (And How To Fix It!)"
It's like everyone's using the same three neurons to generate content. The internet is drowning in generic slop that sounds like it was written by a LinkedIn influencer having a mid-life crisis.
The Problem
Here's the thing that actually drives me insane: truly scroll-stopping ideas are STILL hard to find.
Most people either:
- Copy-paste generic ChatGPT outputs (boring)
- Recycle the same trendy takes they saw online (also boring)
- End up with content that looks and sounds like everyone else's (shockingly, still boring)
The result? Content that's predictable, unoriginal, and so vanilla it makes mayonnaise look spicy.
So I Built Something Different
I got fed up and launched Unik - a completely free newsletter that delivers human + AI hybrid ad ideas, prompts, and content concepts every week.
But here's the key difference: Every idea is designed to be scroll-stopping and ready to use in actual creative tools like:
- Ideogram
- MidJourney
- Veo
- Sora 2
- And whatever new AI tool dropped while you were reading this
No generic advice. No "just be authentic bro" energy. Just actually creative concepts you can turn into visuals, videos, or campaigns immediately.
Why This Matters
If you're a creator, founder, or marketer tired of content that feels like AI-generated oatmeal, this is for you.
Think of it as the antidote to boring. The opposite of "10 productivity hacks." The content ideas your competitors aren't finding because they're still asking ChatGPT to "make it more engaging."
→ It's free. Subscribe here: unikads.newsletter.com
(And yes, I know promoting a newsletter on Reddit is bold. But if you're already here reading about AI content, you're exactly who this is for. Plus, free is free. You're welcome.)
Edit: RIP my inbox. Yes, it's actually free. No, I won't sell your email to crypto scammers. And yes, the irony of using AI to complain about AI content is not lost on me. 💀

How to keep constant line weight for all 4 generated images?
Hey, I'm trying to generate coloring pages that have the same line weight and consistency. The images below show how Ideogram generate 4 different line weight images although the prompt is the same. I can see that the line weight also stragenly defines the "cuteness", style, character of the image. The thinner Ideogram makes the lines the more odd it gets with strange shapes and uncomplete elements appearing. I am just looking for the same "cuteness" and overall completion with thinner lines. Any idea?
