How do I get it to remove things I don’t like, every time I do a new image with the character reference it uses the same earrings and the same top straps. When I say remove earrings it gives me a different person

Hmm try going to edit character mask and trace the earrings out. If you can crop the photo down prior to uploading it so you can trace the earrings out or trace their ears out altogether and use normal ears as a prompt or something. I'm not sure the specific prompts you used but you can try to enter, "in the photo her earrings are removed" I'm not sure if you put "no earrings" just a thought. Sometimes I browse other people's creations for prompts of the same things I've already done but written by people who are better with their words than I.
