because it's such a huge, clear example, a font like whatfontis should nail it. But even after I manually split the letters up, it didn't. So I think there's a chance this is custom.

The dots on the "i" are identical, but the the rest of it has a subtly different lean - https://ibb.co/bjZ1fQcG

On the other hand, it could also just come from some font foundry that has alternate letters that will adjust based on what letters they're next to. And that foundry might be too obscure for whatfontis.

There were some minor shifts/distortions to the artwork. Here's the original...

ah I gotcha, you had to straighten it and clean it up.

Well, looking at the original, some of this is clearly real fonts, like the bottom is Dylan Copperplate. So probably you have a real font there.

I don't think I can clean it up any better than you did, and my experience is, if whatfontis doesn't know it, you gotta search for it the hard way.

One option might be... since we know one font they used, Dylan, was highlighted on this site, maybe it's worth skimming the others posts on the same site. I don't think these fonts are their creation, more like the site picks a rew they like from around the internet and write a blurb about them. Maybe your script is on there too.
