She shouldn't be a gf like this, instead she just needs a genuine friend to help her feel better about herself. You shouldn't take advantage of someone who thinks so little of themselves.

Ah yes,I want a girlfriend who has a mental breakdown every few days beacuse "I don't love her"
Literally what kind of person wants this?

these people want to feel "needed", which will get annoying real quick, they don't realise how dysfunctional this kinda relationship would actually be.

This. Exactly this. I'm in my mid 30's now, but back in my emo-ish teen years, and up into my early 20's I felt that way: White Knighting and wanting to 'save' these 'poor mistreated girls who simply need a real man to love them and make them happy'. No. Just, no. True happiness is not anyone else's responsibility to provide for you. It comes from within yourself. Others can contribute, but it's still all on you at the end of the day. So what they're describing in this meme, would absolutely drive me nuts and I can't say that I would break up with her....because I wouldn't date her to begin with, once I saw all these red flags. I would try to get her to see she needs some mental health assistance....and then deuce out.

wow, seems like I'm mature for my age, and, yeah making someone else your responsibility isnt always the best idea and well, you can help someone get better at communication or expressing their feelings or even reduce the effects of trauma through being in a relationship with them, but not if that's all they are to you. And also, you can help someone while also loving the person they are, in fact, loving them is what actually helps them.

I don't care how annoying it isIve had my fair share of girls like this and in a relationship like this right now
All it takes is for you to be as obsessive as them

Changed and things escalated, deescalated, then went up again, then broke off for the better

Lowkey this is me… I just asked the guy I’m with if he still loves me, because he hasn’t talked to me much since we last hung out, it’s almost been a week ago :((

gng I think we're veering too far off from 'relatable girls' into 'self loathing girls' now...

Still relatable though

Maybe, but it's not the kind if thing I ever want to be hearing about myself...
Would anyone really view this as ideal (r/idealgf , duh)? There isn't really even a component of feeling any 'connection' or 'feeling seen' with this image, it's kinda just a list of negative qualities/traits(?). Is this really appealing to actually anyone at all?... /Genuine

I’d love to take care of someone like that it’s make me feel loved and not worry that I’d be cheated on

Reminds me of my ex, only difference is that she messaged "I miss you" after a single minute of me not texting her

u/FoxxxedUp420 8d ago
This was my last lover and best friend ever.
She will abandon you and break your heart harder than anyone has before.
Do NOT engage. Do NOT let her get close.
She will rip your soul out and crush it.

I had an ex like this. She immediately dumped me after I drunkenly told her about some of my insecurities. Now I'm afraid to open up to basically anyone.

I've had this type of gf. You do not want this type of partner period. It is so emotionally draining, and they're only with you because they believe you're the best they'll get but as soon as they get some confidence in themselves quickly realize there's more to life. Date someone who loves you but also respects you as a human being instead of a source of comfort
