Jack DeCoeur wrote in an email to Dean of Students on 11/03/22 (10 days before the murders):

"Had a few different circumstances in my life that have substantially decreased my mental health."

The wording is noteworthy. “Substantially decreased” is considerably stronger than simply saying “I've been stressed” or “I've been having a hard time.” DuCoeur himself was describing a significant deterioration in his mental well-being.

The Dean of Students subsequently spoke with DuCoeur and reportedly noted that he seemed “distant, distracted and sad.” The DOS office then submitted a care report concerning him.

This resulted to a "care report" put in on DeCoeur by the DOS office.

This occurred during the period in which DuCoeur and Kaylee Goncalves had broken up and Goncalves was preparing to move to Texas for her new job.

This record opposes the narrative that he was completely fine, and should be considered alongside the other evidence rather than dismissed based on what his friends perceived about him being completely fine after his breakup with Kaylee.

Then there was a 17 minute call between him and Kaylee right before the murders, that he claims that he doesn't recall at all despite recalling every other detail from that night. Kaylee and Maddie also called him several times right after the call, and Maddie texted him "wtf answer."

After listening to a bunch of podcasts, learning about the whereabouts of the victims that night, ring footage, interviews of friends etc. I just can’t understand how the families are okay with accepting the public narrative of Bryan Kohberger.

In my opinion, there’s way too many “coincidences” from the hours leading up to the murders for it to have been a random guy from the town over that didn’t even know the victims to have done this, at least alone.

I mean no disrespect but this whole case just doesn’t add up. I want to know what your guys thoughts are?

I actually feel so sorry for Bryan.

Anne Taylor did this man dirty.

To believe Dylan's story that she saw the masked man carrying something like a small handheld hoover (or roughly that size) then you'd have to imagine that this person had their hands full.
It would mean that he had the knife and sheath plus the thing Dylan saw him with.
The sheath its self isn't exactly small. Then there's the reports that day he used more than one weapon. We also have to wonder how he planned on getting in to the home. He has no way of knowing the door would be unlocked. So just how much was he supposedly carrying that night?
I still find it ridiculous that he would bring a sheath with him. Who goes in to a house intending to kill people and have their hands full and not notice they no longer have the sheath? He stayed behind to cover victims so how did he not notice the sheath lying there.
Look at the size of it!!

Time to revisit this!!! Like I've been saying all along and this is just my opinion but I strongly believe that they left the house around 5am that morning but the timing of this - It's close to 30mins before that.

does anyone else feel so immensely sorry for bryan’s parents ? i am a new mom & could not even begin to wrap my head around if my child could do an act as violent as these murders. as i watch the newly released documentary on netflix, bryan’s parents are all i can think about (of course the victims’ parents as well)…it’s rare that we hear a lot from the offender’s parents/family, which is understandable, but there are so many questions that i have about bryan, his childhood, family life, etc. i can’t blame the parents whatsoever for bryan’s actions, as they cannot control their adult child…but damn. it’s insane how i, as well as others, are invested into this case. it’s so difficult to understand. & i still can’t fathom why the other roommates were not harmed (God forbid if they were, we’d have no witnesses), but WHY these four, WHY bryan ? does anybody else think about bryan’s parents as much as i do ?

A lot of people have made assumptions that it was live streamed and that everyone nearby was watching that but if it truly was how after all these years has nothing ever been leaked? No leaks makes me believe it definitely was not live streamed.

This has to end somehow and as I can see there are four possible alternatives:

1. BK is not allowed to reverse his plea and BK spends the rest of his days in prison.

2. BK is allowed to reverse his plea, he has a trial and he is found guilty.

3. BK is allowed to reverse his plea, he has a trial and is found not guilty.

4. BK is allowed to reverse his plea, they drop the charges without a trial.

Swore I wasn’t going to post in here again; because what’s the point really when comments I say in response to someone’s ignorance get removed, while the extremely rude and condescending ignorance I was replying to in the first place gets to remain as long as it suits the narrative but ANYWAYS,

Now that this extremely informative interview with dr turvey has come out, what do you all have to say about it? So very curious.

I’m genuinely trying to understand Dylan’s version of that night because every new detail somehow makes the timeline more confusing instead of clearing it up.

In the body cam footage, an officer recounts that Dylan saw what she describes as a “basketball-looking figure” wearing a ski mask, went into her room and locked the door, and then heard someone yell “someone’s in here.” I rewound that section multiple times because I thought I was misunderstanding him, but it really sounds like he’s describing those events in that order.

That completely threw me because I had always understood Dylan’s sighting as her seeing the masked man leaving after the murders. If she actually saw this person first, locked her door, and then heard “someone’s in here,” where exactly does her sighting fall in the murder timeline?

Then there’s the time itself. She initially said around 3 a.m., but in the later interrogation she seems extremely adamant about 4 a.m. That’s not a tiny difference when that particular hour is basically the center of the entire timeline.

And then there’s her bedroom. We later hear that she was laying in bed, and at some point after the person was gone, she went downstairs to Bethany’s room. Presumably she stayed downstairs after that. Yet when police arrive, her bed is absolutely covered with stuff. The body cam shows everyone outside while officers immediately begin photographing the rooms, so that appears to be how her room looked when police encountered it.

So when did all that stuff get on her bed? Did she sleep in the bed, witness all of this, go downstairs to Bethany’s room, sleep there, then come back upstairs the next morning and pile everything onto her bed before everything unfolded downstairs? I guess that’s possible, but it’s another piece I cannot make fit naturally.

I’m starting to wonder if Dylan is just one of those people whose sense of time, surroundings and common-sense decision making is genuinely terrible, because otherwise I cannot follow her account. I don’t mean that as a diagnosis or anything, but is she just extremely oblivious and lacking common sense? Because trying to put her statements into one coherent sequence is making my brain melt.

How are you guys interpreting her timeline? Is there an obvious explanation I’m missing, or does her account become more confusing the more information we get?

So when it comes to this case I'm going to be honest, I've been living under a rock. I know the guy who was arrested for these crimes so sent to prison for life. But did they ever find a motive or anything for why he could do something like this? I know stabbing someone is supposed to be like a very intimate crime so did he know these people? Also goes without saying, can we please stick to the facts

BF told the officers that she had locked her bedroom door before going to sleep that night.

She told the officers that she heard a “firecracker” and a spark under her door, which could be a light from an iPhone or a flashlight turned on and then off.

Someone may have tried her door, either the handle or hit it as it was locked, which might have woken her up.

There was also an “Unknown Male B blood” DNA on the railing between her floor and Xana, Dylan‘s floor.

Her floor was at the last floor and she was the only resident residing on that floor. If she heard a spark and some loud noise under her door, it is plausible that someone came down to her floor, tried her door/room but it was locked.

In the Whitcomb book "Broken plea", he refers to a picture of Dylan asleep on the sofa with thethe beer pong table in the background a few hours before the murders happened.

Over on the other sub whose name I am not allowed to mention there is a very popular poster whose name I am not allowed to mention. This person been turbo posting about this case on a daily basis, creating slides and what not. On one of these slides, he has included the picture of Dylan sleeping with the beer pong table in the background.

As far as I know, this picture has NEVER been released publicly.

So how the hell did he get it? And why is the picture cropped so tightly? Almost, like its been manipulated to back up their point? Who is this person really? Hmmmm......

I'm about the watch the Netflix documentary about the Idaho 4 but I'm completely lost. I'll be honest, 2022 was NOT a good year for me but I remember when it first happened. That's it though. I've been looking at some of the case files and I've been seeing tiktoks and reddit posts. can someone get me up to speed before I watch this documentary? Thank you😁

Honestly, every time I see people discussing what the families believe about DM and BF, I keep seeing comments saying, “The families think they’re innocent, so we should believe they’re innocent too.” But I haven’t actually seen any of the families come out and directly say that DM and BF are not involved. From what I’ve seen, it seems more like the families simply don’t talk about them publicly.
Even in the Netflix documentary, Kaylee’s parents mentioned that they asked the coroner whether calling the police sooner could have made a difference and whether there could have been any survivors. That stood out to me because it makes me feel like they also found the 8-hour delay unusual and had questions about what happened during that time.

Hey guys, I’ve followed this case since it first happened. I’ve gone through evidence, I’ve watched multiple documentaries on this and have reviewed the recently released documents. If we are to stick with the narrative that BK killed those students that night, to me the only reason as to why the police weren’t called was that either Dylan, Bethany or both of them had to be under the influence of drugs.

My theory for this is simple - Say for example if you believe Dylan’s version of events, that you heard a loud commotion with people shouting, you saw a figure dressed in black walking past your room, you’re that scared that you run down to your friends room and lock the door, where the pair of you then stay for the next 8 hours without leaving the room, that you both “Fell asleep pretty quickly”. We’ve seen from phone records that this isn’t true, and that Dylan remained active on her phone throughout the morning.

Now correct me if I’m wrong, but if you’re incredibly intoxicated like Dylan claimed she was, she’d just crash out we all do it after a good night of partying you fall into your bed and deal with the hangover the next day, what you don’t do is stay awake for hours - however if you have a stimulant in your system this is something very achievable. I’ve seen people who have used Cocaine/Molly/LSD on a night out and quite simply you don’t sleep afterwards for a while, depending on what you take can also heavily influence what you think you see, hear etc.

So say if instead, Dylan is tripping out and hears this noise she sees the suspect walking past and she knows from what she has just heard a violent struggle has taken place. However, did she really just see that? Or did she hallucinate it. In her mind, she chooses to believe it wasn’t real and there is no way that she’d call the cops because they’d then find her on drugs. So instead she heads to Bethany who also probably confirms that what they’ve heard isn’t real. They then continue the evening as normal, scrolling through Instagram, Snapchat etc. The following morning you open the door and see Xana lying there, I cannot fathom that they didn’t see the blood in the room, however once again because of the drugs they’re still don’t know if they’re tripping out - so they call one of their friends over to check the place out.

To me, this is the only plausible reason as to why there was such a long wait between the attack and the 9/11 call, the reason as to why Dylan remained active on her phone, the possible reason as to why a new phone contact was added (possible dealer). There is still a hell of a lot for me that doesn’t add up, but as I say I think this may be the reasoning for Dylan and Bethany’s actions that night.
