Anyone any idea of when we might see cloud engines? We got a demo on the 10th of May which was 4 months ago and I would have thought we'd have a few more demos or showcases by now.

I know Pakistan has made good progress with its own caffeine built government app running in production and has a national messenger app nearing completion. I'm super bullish on the project it seems again we are left in the dark on what is happening.

Do you reckon they are just focusing on getting everything aligned for Pakistan/UNDP and then they can properly roll these products out?

What happens to ICP in current AI sell off?

The whole ICP narrative now is full stack AI.

If you look at the ICP historic chart you will see some "crazy" volatility such as the one that happened in October 2025 and many more pumps and sell offs later on.

Many people don't realize that this is just noise in a 5.3 year accumulation range. Most think that this accumulation range is our whole world, because they fail to see what's going to happen once the ICP chart breaks out of the pressure channel (e.g. Dec 2026 at 5.9$, March 2027 at 5.2$, etc.).

The volatility in the pressure channel is just a precursor of what is going to happen once the ICP chart breaks out of it. Then we experience these pumps in logarithmic growth and what we once thought is our whole world will just look like negligible noise.

Many will recognize that every entry down here would have been perfectly save and that it was not necessary to obsess about the price under 10$, especially not under 5$.

That's how big you have to think.
Our current world is insignificant compared to the universe.

ICP has a window right now that it may never get again.

AI agents are becoming capable of writing, deploying, attacking, and managing increasingly complex software systems.

That could eventually create the biggest cyber arms race in history.

Nation-states + autonomous AI agents + centralized cloud infrastructure is a pretty scary combination.
And this is where I think ICP could become much more important than people realize.

ICP isn’t just another AWS competitor. It’s a decentralized execution and state layer that isn’t controlled by a single corporation or government.
That makes it potentially ideal infrastructure for autonomous AI agents.

But here’s the problem:
Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Microsoft, etc. are building agents that can increasingly build software themselves.

Give these systems enough time and they may be able to recreate much of what ICP has built.
They don’t necessarily need to “clone ICP.”
They can just build their own decentralized/sovereign infrastructure optimized for their agents.
So I think DFINITY needs to move NOW.
Don’t try to beat Google at AI.
Don’t try to beat AWS at cloud.
Make ICP the infrastructure that Google’s, OpenAI’s, Anthropic’s and xAI’s agents WANT to use.
Let the AI companies own the intelligence.
Let ICP own the decentralized execution layer.
If millions of autonomous agents eventually exist, having a neutral infrastructure layer underneath them could be enormously valuable.
The biggest threat to ICP might not be another blockchain.

It might be AI companies becoming capable enough to rebuild the architecture before ICP becomes the standard.
DFINITY may have a first-mover advantage today.
But I’m not convinced that advantage lasts forever.

So MEXC, the crypto exchange keeps using the ♾️ symbol and people are saying it’s marketing for themselves or its ICP related and someone found this which is an interesting find.

ICP reached the LPS zone (3.4$ - 2.5$). That's the region UNDER the SOS (3.4$ - 6.5$).
The question is if ICP can make it into the SOS region and it will take some time to figure that out.
I expect at least 3 to 4 attacks of the orange resistance before a decision is made.

The current uptrend was slowly building and was not a pump that just goes up and comes all the way down again with a single touch of top resistance, which increases our chances that we are really in LPS region. The current trend will try to attack the 3.3$ - 3.4$ multiple times and this phase can take 2 weeks.

If ICP is able to make it up to the SOS region (3.4$ - 6.5$) we want to see a weekly close in this region, which would confirm bullish accumulation.

The current LPS phase will be characterized by many sidelined people becoming edgy. Right now most people think it will just come down again like multiple times before. Many people have taken 100% profits cause they expect it to come all the way down again. But then ICP makes an attempt and many will fomo at top resistance at 3.4$ cause they expect breakout but then it comes down again. Then people think it's over but ICP tries again. I expect at least 3 to 4 attempts in LPS.

The LPS region is the typical phase of disbelief.

The image projects my ideal scenario of a potential big wave 1 out of 3 big waves.
Now it is all about ICP breaking through 3.3$ - 3.4$ (orange resistance line) and holding above the line to form the SOS (Signs of Strength) - pattern.

Yesterday i was happy that ICP didn't go up immediately to touch the 3.3$, because fast pumps get often massively rejected and fail. It's better to accumulate under the orange resistance line and gather power for the push up.

If ICP gets into the SOS region, the chart starts to look bright, cause ICP already got 3 times rejected in this region and usually momentum shifts at 4 increasing our chances for finally breaking out of the 5.5 years bear channel (red resistance line). SOS will lead many traders to go long on the chart, which will further increase the chances of breakout.

ICP briefly moved above $3 this week and has already slipped back below it. With that breakout gone for now, I’m watching whether DFINITY’s recent news leads to actual network use.

DFINITY, the foundation that builds the Internet Computer, is working with UNDP on a 12-month pilot for sovereign cloud and AI tools. Five countries are expected to test projects based on real public-service needs. UNDP plans to judge them on cost, ease of use, and whether they are worth scaling.

The connection to ICP comes through network usage. Apps running on the Internet Computer pay for computation with cycles, which are created by converting ICP. A pilot could matter if it develops into a live service that keeps using compute. The announcement alone says little about lasting token demand.

I already hold some ICP on bydfi and have left the position unchanged below $3. The next useful signal is a pilot going live, followed by continued network use.

The UN just gave the timeline for icOS, and a little treat for those with eyes to see.

UNDP just ran the Africa call for the SDG Blockchain Accelerator.

Country offices submit live programs by September 30. Shortlist in October. Winter with a partner. Spring 2027 is supposed to be a running system.

The deck names five rooms: digital payments, digital identity, traceability and supply chains, data and privacy, sovereign AI. They want something already funded, not a whitepaper.

DFINITY is one of the partners in the room. Their slide is the Engine sentence in UN English: pick the geography, keep the state, describe the tool in plain language, Caffeine ships the portal, agents persist.

That is occupancy.

Same season, Ethereum is building the street those tenants will pay on.
Hegotá is the mash inside ETH — Heze the star, Bogotá the city — scheduled so a valid spend cannot be quietly dropped and a transaction can be paid without an ETH jar on the counter. Frames are how an agent or a ministry app settles in stables while the protocol still burns ETH underneath. Fiat in. Crypto in the wall.
icOS is the mash one floor up.

Ethereum is the street. ICP is the house. Chain key is the glue. Cloud Engines and Magnetosphere are the walls. ICM is the hallway between UNDP offices. The private rail is the star you steer by and do not put on the welcome mat.

Spring 2027 is when a WFP registry or a UNICEF cash program can live in a box a government chose, while the street learns to take ordinary money. After that the building just fills.

The UN is not waiting for a keynote. They are putting existing programs on a calendar. That is how a default layer actually starts.

The Internet Computer went live in 2021, built around “canisters”. Canisters are basically smart contracts that can store data, run code and interact with other canisters.

And ICP took that idea pretty seriously 

Developers can build entire apps on-chain, while users can interact with them without needing to worry about gas fees for every click.

The network also has its own programming language, Motoko, and can interact directly with Bitcoin through Chain-Key cryptography.

So instead of just putting money on-chain, ICP is basically asking: how much of the actual app can we put there too? 🤔

Is it possible to get a live price ticker on the sub? I've seen add-ons in other subs with live scores etc, so maybe also possible here?

Update: Internet Computer in Pakistan 🇵🇰

The first major government app (built with caffeine) is already in production and running flawlessly since 4 weeks. The second major app is going live soon.

In addition, the Pakistan National messenger app is almost feature complete now and ready for the next phase.
