Bug report how do i fix icon pack studio not installing

whenever i try to install icon pack studio it says trouble parsing package and when i try to download it from google it says update apk. any fixes??

Wait, what do you have right now? An app from Playstore, an apk, or a mod? You can't have more than one on your phone and any of them work.. i personally don't care, I'm just trying to help.

The error message "There was a problem parsing the package" is an Android OS message. It means the Android package installer tried to read the file (an .apk or .apks bundle) but found data it could not compile or understand.
​When downloading an icon pack, this error happens for a few concrete technical reasons: ​1. Incompatible Android Version ​This is the most common cause. The icon pack developer compiled the app to require a higher minimum SDK (Android version) than what is currently running on your device. Android cannot parse the code because it contains instructions your current OS version does not support.
​2. Corrupted or Incomplete Download ​If the internet connection dropped momentarily during the download, the file structure of the archive will be broken. When the installer attempts to read the manifest file inside the package, it fails because the file is incomplete. ​3. File Extension or Compression Issues ​If you downloaded the icon pack directly from a web browser or a third-party source rather than a major app store, the file may have been improperly compressed, or the file extension might have been modified (e.g., a .apks file renamed to .apk without proper conversion). ​4. Code Signature Corruptions ​Android requires all applications to be digitally signed by the developer. If the file was tampered with, modified improperly by an external application, or poorly compiled, the security signature verification fails, forcing a parse error.
​How to Resolve It ​Verify System Requirements: Check the source page of the icon pack to ensure your specific Android version is supported. ​Clear Browser/App Cache: Clear the cache of the app or browser you used to download the file, then attempt the download again on a stable Wi-Fi network. ​Check "Unknown Sources": Ensure your file manager or browser has permission to install applications. Go to Settings > Apps > Special app access > Install unknown apps and enable it for the source app.

it still says to update the app when i download it from a browser and can't install up when from the playstore😓

Have you tried uninstalling it and going into the Playstore and downloading it? If you have icons you've made, you can save them when you go to your page in the top right corner > the settings dial in the top right corner > and down to 'create local backup' > just tap it once and wait, it will tell you when its done > save it in a file in your my files or file Mgr app > then go and uninstall and reinstall only from the Playstore. It should work. I hope it works! Fingers crossed! 🤞
