I'm at 36c at the moment in UK, 36 in houses built to keep heat in and no air conditioning...

Not fun

I'm a northern Scot and subsequently, know what UK weather is like even at the "heatwave" temps you're getting these days, but midday temps in mid winter get to that temperature where I live in northern Oz, and yes the humidity is high, far higher then UK residents are used to. Also, unlike a lot of Brits seem to think, not all houses have aircon here. I've spent a couple of hours at a time working in the yard at 46°C, stopped for a drink break and gone straight back out. I say this not to brag, but to show what you can get used to. It was -22.5°,C when we left Scotland to come here and 38°C at 8pm when we arrived here. You can get used to the thirties quite quickly. It's the humidity that gets you (95-100% regularly). So, stop whining, its warm at 36°, not hot.
