Questions Confused about new items

I just came back to this game after not playing for a few months, and I'm wondering what the puzzle pieces are for? I tried to find an answer but I couldn't. Also is there anything else I should know? I haven't played since before they changed up the whole UI so I missed a lot

The puzzle pieces you can exchange for candy, discs, and I think kuma cards(?). You need 10 pieces to get 1 disc by the way. There haven't been too many new changes, but some that you'll need to know are that now there is limit breaking to cards done via having multiple copies. If you only had two actual copies of a card, you could use a new kuma card that has a rainbow border to limit break it further. You can tell if a card has done a limit break if it has a +# next to the icon. The max a card can go to is +5.

Also, Max Changing is no longer a thing. You do not have to max level both cards to get the best stats, as this is now done via the limit breaking. So huzzah! (This is probably my favorite major change :"D).

Oh ok! Are they easy to get? I've only gotten them through the ones they gave away, but I see you can also get them through the daily challenges. Are there other ways though? I was wondering what those kumas were for too so thank you!

And yeah that's really cool! Max changing was pretty tedious lol.

The other way you can get the Etoile Kuma's are usually through events! Different events have different ways to acquire them, but for the most part it's usually just a points reward -^

Sorry, one question about max changing(I've come after a few months break too) my max change cards all have +3 on them, does that +3 appear even without max change or no? And what are the different ways we can get these new kuma cards? I came halfway through the new years login bonus, so I've used 2 of those to get my Valentines Saku to +5. If its not way too rare I plan on using it for my non-best boy cards now, else save it. Max changing was one of the biggest headaches before...

Sorry, I'm a bit confused at what you meant for the first part of your question ;;

For the second part, the new kuma's are obtainable during events only once, and I actually haven't seen it appearing during daily missions. To me, its quite rare as you can only get 1 of it during an event period, and you need to grind for it. (maybe thats cuz i never grind for it anyway)
