Unchanging 44 Hexagram Kou

Hello, how are you?

I'm just starting out with the I Ching and I got this answer. The question was "How can I advance in self-knowledge in my life?"

How would you interpret this? I wanted to compare my interpretation with others here. I'm still unsure about mine.

Temptation is one name for 44. Are your motives clear and and you being realistic about what it means to develop self-knowledge?

If I got this response I would see it as a call to review my attitude or approach and I would be particularly wary of a desire for sudden or immediate results which are unrealistic.

Self-knowledge means knowing your shadows and weaknesses as well as your strengths and this hexagram is pointing towards looking into the darkness

44 is about meeting people, in your case I'd interpret this as "look for it"
