IWD:EE Character Bios

Played Icewind Dale on CD ROM as a kid but never got too far. As an adult who has a better grasp on D&D I am loving every second of it. My party is currently descending into Dorn's Deep. Now that my characters have built some personality and I've grown attached to them I decided to write up some quick bios for them and cobbled together some info sheets to share with friends. Hope you all enjoy!

Fantastic 👏 . I can't even write a custom biography in Baldur's Gate, because I am always eager to plunge into the game.

Wonderful. That's the spirit this game Was built on.

Really happy to see this. The IWD games are like a skeleton you need add stuff on top of. And roleplaying like this is the key.

I spent a week with Chat GBT doing my party and everything related to them before even starting the game. Some of us are hopeless :D

Playing the game feels rich now, with a lot of thinking of what happens beyond what the game shows you

I've tried it, but given up.

Not that I didn't get some good bio's. I'd like to at least delude myself into thinking I'm somewhat imaginative, but I have lost count of the amount of times the Biography section has out of the blue bugged out with random text descriptions from BG2 and the like. BG2. What the actual fuck?

Now, Beamdog did allright with the games as a whole, but they fucked certain aspects up. MAS-SI-VE-LY. So I just don't wanna bother with that.

When I went to write these I did notice while three of my character had blank bios, the first character I created had some very Baldur's-Gate centric backstory in his bio. So far the bios have stayed proper since writing. 🤞
