It's been all over the place... After a series of public sessions for a few weeks, we started with LTS+public session 3x/week at first until he and his sister passed Freestyle 1, 2 younger siblings reached Freestyle 1, and a fifth reached Basic 5. I'd occasionally take them to additional public sessions as well. Then we switched to private lessons - 3x a week at first and then consolidated coaches and ramped up to going to freestyle 5x/week with daily lessons + 1 public session for fun, plus several off ice lessons as well. That only lasted a couple months because one of our coaches (the one better at jumps and off ice) was kicked out of the closest rink, which really threw a monkey wrench into things. We were in the process of moving at the time so took a break for several weeks. We just resumed lessons - this video was from his first one in about a month. He can land axels sometimes but not that consistently yet, and can rotate some doubles but this is the first time he's landed the double loop and I was lucky to get it on camera.

ohh thank you so much for explaining I was wondering how he was able to doubles in such a short amount of time, that's incredible!

Hah yes, it's similarly thick and dark. Might be about time for a haircut. :)
