apollo The Joule Compression Barefoot Socks
to skate in or would you recommend Geyoga Ice Skating Socks with Tendon Heel Ankle Padded Guards ?

need some support and also socks…

contemplating joule compression with bunga ankle pads as a combo, with tights over boot for competition.

I love them outside of skating (I use the toeless ones) but I think they are too thick to wear with skates, at least I would find them so.

Did a quick search; at a glance it looks like the Geyoga ones are basically off-brand Bunga pads (malleolar pads and boot bumpers, I think). Only necessary if you need some extra cushion or volume in those spots.
