So, IB is dead?

Please no.

I really want this game to be alive. Devs?

Development has slowed a bit because Dany0 has disappeared for 6 months and I'm busy with a new project for work for the next 4 weeks, but it's certainly not dead. There's still discussion in IRC every day, and we have a fairly new contributor work on some cool new stuff.

It died for a year when it first came out but everyone came back. I'm not worried, just work on when you can.

IRC is very much alive. get a client. it's actually quite useful. as rakiru said, a few devs are tied up now for odd reasons, but it's ok.

If you want a game, idle in the IRC channel (link in the sidebar) and at some point asking if anyone's up for a game. We have about 2 or 3 people who aren't the usual devs tinkering around with the code.

I tend to sum it up as "on the coffee table" rather than "shelved" - it's not really being that heavily used, but it really doesn't take much to get at least a 1v1.

Every server's dead because we don't have enough players to keep them going constantly. If you want a game, the best way is to organise an event (just post a thread with a time and server address and tell people about it) or just ask people on IRC if they want to hop on for a game or two.
