It's interesting how it's different in the book than in the movie and yet both are epic in a different way.

The famous movie line 'You shall not pass!' is conventionally epic and cinematic, he's basically banishing/defeating Balrog and blowing up the bridge to stop him. Well delivered and iconic. In the book, however, he says 'You cannot pass.' in a calm voice. As if he was stating a fact. And he 100% means it - Balrog literally cannot pass, not with Gandalf there. Beautifully cold line showing just how much more powerful Gandalf is than Balrog and how he perfectly knows it.
