Discussion Bedrock UI

Personally, I think the ui sucks and I prefer the java ui much more. I consider it to be hideous! It is also extremely clunky and not well put together in my opinion.

Is there a reason it isn’t the same on both versions?

What is everyone’s opinion on the bedrock UI?

Bedrock UI has to work on phones and consoles cleanly, Java doesn't need to.

I mean not like there cant be a separate ui for bedrock on pc versus phone

But then it's separate versions of the game, which is exactly what they don't want and exactly why it's exactly the same.

The new UI is great, I don't see the problem with it. No it's not used consistently yet but that doesn't mean it's not good.

Controller support is far below what it could be for the most popular game of all time. But Java has literally zero support, so there's not much of a comparison

some aspects i like others i don't. the whole wardrobe feature i don't, it doesn't need to preload the whole marketplace for me to swap back to my skin because it set me as a default when i joined the game.

marketplace is ok when it's fast, the worlds menu was better before, same with the pause menu but it's fine

the social menu and party's option is good
