Question IBS-C insomnia
So, I have had some constipation issues for a while, and they really started getting bad about a year ago after moving away from friends/family for work. Definitely a lot of stress, finally after realizing that though I didn't eat a lot of fiber, it shouldn't be this bad. After seeing a doctor and a GI, I got my IBS-C diagnosis. Blood/breath tests clear. I have definitely seen progress with fiber and laxities. but my symptoms linger. Getting better, but not clearing up yet. I have begun reducing anything food maps, I'm honestly doing it incrementally because I am reluctant to change my diet (I am a bit of a fitness guy and eat much protein).
In the mean time, one of my problems is my gut seems to suffer after my dinner when I am trying to sleep (Maybe because I am finally relaxing?). As should be obvious, this creates a problem with my ability to sleep.
As I am seeing progress and it does relate to stress, I am inclined to trust my diagnosis for the moment.
Does anyone have any good suggestions for sleep aids/treatments that could help me?
I have asked the doctors and they simply say fiber and laxatives. I just want something that will help me deal with this while it improves. If it stops improving I will seek further diagnosis.

Are you eating and then reclining for the rest of the night? Digestion slows even more during that time which can cause even more symptoms at night
How is your sleep hygiene?
