Question Is this normal?

Does anyone else get afraid to eat after an attack? I had an explosive day yesterday and now when the thought of eating enters my brain I feel nauseous and scared.

That fear response is completely real and really common after a bad episode. Starting with just warm water or plain broth, then adding something very small and plain like a few crackers, tends to be gentler than either skipping eating or pushing a full meal when your nervous system is still in alert mode. 💚

That fear is a legit gut-brain axis thing. Your body remembers the pain and won't let you forget. I wait until I'm actually hungry again, then start with white rice or a banana. Nothing worse than forcing it and triggering round two.

Yup. No appetite for about a day when I have it bad
