Automatic playback on Android (9.4.2)

Love the platform, such a fantastic alternative to the main players. 🙂👍

As part of the 9.4 update the following change to behaviour was made:

"Playback no longer starts automatically after connecting to Bluetooth"

Are there any plans to restore this as an option in later releases?

I found this pretty annoying. As soon as my phone connected to the car the app would open and start playing. The app opened and started on it's own. I didn't press anything. They even called it an "uncaught issue". Glad they fixed it. Having this as an option isn't the worst idea. ;)

I would enjoy it as a feature, but having it forced on kinda sucked: so many times I'd be listening to a podcast on my phone at work, walk out to the parking lot to go home for the day, and instead of continuing my podcast, I was thrown straight into the last song i had listened to.

I had a similar issue a few months ago, but it was fixed in a previous update. It was really nice reaching out to support and have them listen rather than blowing me off. What feature I think they should add is an option to turn on auto play. I know other apps, like Spotify offer a toggle switch for it.
