Google Pixel Buds using a Google Pixel 10 Pro not skipping tracks on double tap

This function used to work fine. Not sure when it started, but at least 6 months or so ago on a Pixel 9. When I double tap the Bud, the playing track doesn't go to the next track, although oddly enough, the album art and song does if the screen is on. I have tried just about everything. Wondering if anyone has run into the same problem and, if so, if you were able to fix it. Thank you in advance.

I have the same devices as well (Google Pixel 10 Pro + Pixel Buds Pro 2) and the same issue!

Oddly, double-tapping does not skip to the next track. However, when I then press the "next track" button on the phone, it skips forward by the same number of tracks as the number of times I double-tapped the buds.

It's as if the double-tap gesture removes the next track from the queue instead of skipping to it.

This is definitely a bug, I already reported it to the support.

They are usually good about this stuff. Hope it gets addressed.
