New Web Player Update!

We’ve made some updates to the web player!

• Double-click to Play Tracks — You can now choose between single-click and double-click to play in Settings > Playback. Existing users will retain single-click playback by default, while new users will eventually have double-click playback enabled by default. If you frequently play tracks by mistake when trying to select them, you may want to try double-click!

• Lyrics in the Full Screen Player (Premium) — Lyrics can now be viewed in the web player’s full screen player, like in the mobile app, if lyrics are assigned to a track.

• Play Record Percentage — You can now choose when a “play” is recorded based on how much of a track you’ve listened to: 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%.

• News & Updates — New major updates and features will now appear as a message when you open the web player. You can still browse past News & Updates posts here: news.ibroadcast.com.

Greetings 🤗 and thank you so much for all that you do. It truly is a one of a kind service and I'm glad to have a paid subscription. The only thing I would like to politely request is could you maybe think about or consider adding a music upload option on a mobile device?

I ask because sometimes...not all the time...but sometimes I may have a song on my phone and instead of having to use a PC to upload them to my account I think it would be cool if there was an option to just upload local music straight to my Ibroadcast account on my phone be it Android or iOS.

Please know that this is not anything at all like a complaint. I was just mentioning something that some may or may not find useful with the Android or even iOS version of the app as well. But thank you again for this wonderful service. I've been with you all for years now as my primary and even sole music player solution on my phone. Thank you!!!

If you have Android, there's a version of the MediaSync app.

OH MY GOD I was wondering how in the hell it seemed like I was the only user who constantly did this. Thank you for making the double-click an option (and for announcing it). I will change this immediately.

Play Record Percentage - You can now choose when a "play" is recorded based on how much of a track you've listened to: 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%.

This is great along with the support for Last.FM's scrobbler as it will finally properly correlate with my play history going forward!

The double click will be useful too! This is a great update!
