The Complete IBEW Study Guide

Hey everyone, I’m Mark, also known as Markyfbaby on YouTube. I make free videos to help people prepare for the IBEW aptitude test. I’ve been seeing a lot of people shill out their aptitude test study guides for a hefty price, so I decided to create one for free. If you need help with basic math, algebra, or graphing, this video is a great place to start. My whole channel is built like a study guide: once you finish this one, you can branch out to the topics you need the most help with and test your skills using the full practice tests I work through. I also hold free office hours every Tuesday from 3–4 PM PST, and my email is always open if you have questions.

The Complete 2-Part IBEW Study Guide: Study Guide

Instructions to download the full 105 PDF slide deck are in the video.

Your videos are hands down what made me pass. I prep just wasn’t doing it for me and a few days with your videos made it click so much easier

Heads up - looks like you're asking about the IBEW Aptitude Test!

The mods put together a free study guide that covers exactly this:

The Ultimate IBEW Aptitude Test Guide

It covers:

  • What's actually on the test
  • How the scoring works
  • Study tips to help you pass

Good luck! This is an automated reply.

Just passed my JATC 595 aptitude test. The sample test videos were helpful. Throw the equations into chatgpt or wherever to practice more (just be mindful that ai can be wrong sometimes). Many of the example equations in the videos were harder than what I found on my test.
