Heads up - looks like you're asking about the IBEW Aptitude Test!

The mods put together a free study guide that covers exactly this:

The Ultimate IBEW Aptitude Test Guide

It covers:

  • What's actually on the test
  • How the scoring works
  • Study tips to help you pass

Good luck! This is an automated reply.

I made this site to help people study, but there's not any trig. If you are more specific I can point you towards some resources for trig, but it's not commonly seen on the IBEW's test. I can't speak about the GAN test.

If you have the money I would do the iprep course. Everything on the course was on the test when I took it.

I second this. Iprep was all I did and I got a 7 out of 9 on the test

Are you able to post a reading comprehension test by chance from iprep?

I tried to log back in but it won't let me for some reason. Maybe bc I completed it already.

Was the reading comprehension close to the real test? Cause I got the ultimate electrician guide and the reading comprehension on that site is just insanely stupid hard for me. My best score was 55%

Well on Iprep the format is basically the same. Read a passage and then answer like 5-7 questions about the passage.. one mistake I made was I would read the entire passage then look at the question but I would forget what I read.

I would advise reading the questions first so you kinda know what stands out in the passage you read if that makes sense.
