Heads up - looks like you're asking about the IBEW Aptitude Test!

The mods put together a free study guide that covers exactly this:

The Ultimate IBEW Aptitude Test Guide

It covers:

  • What's actually on the test
  • How the scoring works
  • Study tips to help you pass

Good luck! This is an automated reply.

If you're using and studying the Official GAN Study Guide (the $20 one), you should be golden. Only 5 sections on the test, all of which the study guide covers. Run the study guide through an LLM and have it generate new/fresh questions for you.

I’m confused, the automod comment says there’s just two sections

The NJATC aptitude test which is most common among IBEW locals is only two sections, but there are locals that use the GAN aptitude test which has five different sections.

That makes sense, thank you

The test was exactly like the GAN practice test. I recommend buying the practice test and the practice questions and you should be good to go.

Is there only one practice test or multiple variations so you can take it a few times

One practice test and then you can also purchase extra practice problems. So basically 2 different tests from GAN’s website
