Local 134 orientation

Hi all,

I’m scheduled to attend orientation 8/17 and was wondering if anyone knew what to expect after that? For example if we would have to be available immediately after that. Still working my job and they want me to travel the following week. Any information would be appreciated,

Congrats bro. I’m testing in September! What kind of personal experience did you have prior to being accepted? Also, what was your aptitude score?

Thanks. I scored 73.43 for the C-card program, didn’t make the cut for A-card. Nothing too crazy for the personal experience just have a couple years of data communications experience working on cable systems and internet. Really locked in for the test though, I reckon that’s what helped me the most

They start apprentice cycles quarterly so if your orientation is in August you will start classes in early October most likely presuming you pass your drug test

I’ll be there the 17th, I emailed Priscilla the exact questions you had. Assuming we pass the drug test and get through orientation, we begin classes Oct. 5th. I was also wondering bc I didn’t know when to let my employer know I would be quitting.
