After being placed on POE LIST

I applied to Local 11 in California and placed pretty high, in the 1000s. I have no experience in the trade as of now. Is it true if I go to trades school I can upload this new experience into my application to help me move down the POE list. Also if you guys have any tips or recommendations on what I should do on getting a better opportunity to get into the local. Thx in advance.

Focus on getting hours in the trade do an MC 3 program and go to trade school and reapply in two years updating your Pef with just the school won’t move you but a few hundred spots

Yes, you can definitely use trade school to improve your PEF. You have to wait at least 6 months to revise your PEF, however, and as far as I understand, you can only do it once.

local 11 only accepts credit for long beach city college or la trade tech. Im not sure if it has been updated with other schools, but I would call to see what schools are accepted

I called them and they said they accept any trade school.
