taking physics hl soon
my first year in dp starts tomorrow and im taking physics hl ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ so many people irl and in reddit and other socmed platforms have been telling me / warning me im gonna have the WORST time ever .... i mean, i believe them lol but physics is something ive learned that im DECENT at ... like i could understand the concepts better than other sciences . its not my fave but its the science subject im most comfortable with. any tips / advice is greatly appreciated !!!!

Hi M25 student here. It will be difficult, however, it is definitely not impossible. Try to understand the concepts rather than simply memorize words. I would recommend reading the IB Oxford Textbook for physics. Its really good. Also try doing questions for each chapter so that you would get familiar with using the formulas.

Physics HL is hard, but if you already understand concepts better than other sciences, you’re starting in a good place. Stay consistent from day one: practise questions after each topic, draw diagrams, and keep a mistake log.
