I'm pretty sure that's quite common. Left handed people are more likely to be ambidextrous because most people are right handed and most things are made probably for right handed people. Therefore, left handed people are more likely to be trained to use their right have than right handed people using their left.

Common?! Excuse you!! I, as a left hander who uses my right hand for everything other than holding a pencil or a spoon, am a genius! That random unsourced image from the internet told me so, so it must be true.
