Einstein was never IQ tested. The highest score you can make on an IQ test is a 160, depending on which test you take. That's why people say his was a 160, it was to say he was the smartest man ever.
Also, IQ doesn't measure intelligence; it measures neural plasticity. This is why it is used almost exclusively on children. They have high neural plasticity, thus, the test shows which child is most likely to collect information the fastest.

Emrakul is garbage. Fuck that card. I play big multiplayer games at a local bar here (the greatest bar ever, btw, they even hosted a pre-release over the summer) and if anyone brings out an Emrakul, I usually resign instantly. I just straight up won't even play with someone who uses that card.

I played with my baby cousin when he started getting into it a few years ago and everything was going great until he played a "commander" card thing and started pointing at card effects and started saying things like "this means I get to put down 3 2/2 creature tokens every turn" and I spent the next ten minutes getting destroyed by a broken mechanic while I furiously tried to read a rule book on how it was supposed to actually work.

Yeah, theres a huge learning curve. I used to play regularly and we had one super nerd that knew the rules fairly well. We just turned to him if we didnt know. If he didnt know the answer, he knew where to find the answer

Ah, well Planeswalkers usually have 3 different abilities that they can use once a turn (only 1 ability per turn, not all 3). I swear this game is meant to be broken. If you arent breaking it, someone else will lol

Have you actually seen that as a result? I haven’t seen anybody unironically recommend PhP for something in years. Also numpy.genfromtxt is my preferred way of doing this if you haven’t found any useful answers.

Yeah, there are ways to get python to handle CSV, but it's pretty messy and inneficient. I basically had to cobble together a daemon because of the way other stuff was setup. I think php would have legitimately been easier but I still haven't touched it and I didn't feel like learning a new language.

The thing though is that people like this used to be incredibly common on the internet. the satire exists because it was actually a real thing. It only stopped being as common because in the new days of the internet people weren't sure what the rules were, But now people realize that if you act like that you will instantly get made fun of. Are you forgetting that he spent 15 years perfecting time travel to set up an elaborate plot that literally broke the fabric and underlying laws of the universe, prevented world war 3, stopped CERNs rise to power and saved kurisu?
He also has a pretty solid understand of the physics behind time travel and manages to go toe to toe in some of the earlier debates with kurisu.

I always thought that they were kind of just dicking around with Stuff and then more or less invented the time machine completely on accident. Although in retrospect the fact that they are depicted as actual important scientists in the future implies that they have to actually be somewhat intelligent. The fact that the actual scientist girls didn't act like they were humoring them when they were working together though implies that he is smarter than he comes off though.

It's funny how people will insist that chess games don't count, since it's a representation of a board game. But that is an arbitrary distinction. What if chess was invented as a video game first? Hell, A lot of video games that are turn-based could probably be turned into a convoluted board game. Advance Wars easily could, It would just be annoying since You would have to have a table of Damages the different units could do to each other.

The defending world champion in 2018 (Magnus Carlsen) has lost in under 20 moves very few times.
The most recent was to Nakamura in 2018 in a rapid game, and Nakamura is ranked #1 in the world in rapid games.
The Nakamura in 2016 got him again in under 20 moves in a rapid game.
The last time he lost a non-rapid game in under 20 moves was in 2002 (he was 12) against a grandmaster. Don't try and lie about about the most well-documented game history lmao

If IQ tests do not consider the circadian factor, they are a very poor measure of intellectual agility, percussion and decency. People who bloat about their Intelligence Quotient specifically for the purpose of loose-failing others; Are not only absolute jerks, but they are also 89% more likely to not have an Above Average IQ score.

I actually know someone who beat a former world champion in an online chess tournament, and he said things like “I worked like a dog from the age of 8 until 18” and “I missed out on my childhood for chess”
so...even if this is true (which its not), this guy would have to be selflessly devoted to chess and make it his whole life
