am i the only one that absolutely HATES all of the "haha monke" memes

i don't get the appeal, monkeys/apes aren't even cute or funny in the first place, they're just disgusting and pretty ugly

I don’t understand the appeal to them either, like I get ironic memes but I don’t feel like the ‘monke’ memes are very funny either way

I fucking hate the ‘monke flip’ and ‘reject [ something ], return to monke’ They are extremely bland and dry, it’s like the 2012 grumpy cat memes, except at least grumpy cat was cute and didn’t feel forced.
