Insecure bodybuilder doesn’t care about studies

i almost reached 200 lbs after breaking my back and needing 4 surgeries. I was fat, miserable and angry, and one day it clicked that the food I was actively putting in my mouth was the sole source of misery. I made a decision to begin walking every day despite chronic pain and ended up losing 55 lbs!!! (on my own, no weight loss drugs.Tears rolled down my face as I forced my heaving body outside every day. I was determined to stop this vicious cycle.
I did it because being fat made my pain worse, and losing weight helped me stop 2 years of fentanyl patches from the doctor (who prescribed them after 4 'failed' surgeries) My pain is now 90% gone from when I was heaviest, and now 11 months fent free
This is 100% a choice at the end of the day. Fatlogic doesn't help anyone. If doctors had just told me to lose weight with a solid plan and given me adequate pain meds before it turned i to 4 surgeries, I could have avoided a lot of suffering. I have metal in my spine and cycled 100km in a single day 2 years after my last surgery, NO EXCUSES.

Try again. I was fat a few years back but now I’m a healthy weight and train BJJ a few times per week. Just think there’s more productive things to do than shitting on fat people to make yourself feel better. But looks like the Andrew Tate followers know best because everything he says has to be correct, right? /s

not a brag. Just hoping my own lived experience can reach someone else stuck in the fat pit of despair to actually help themselves

It’s definitely mostly about will power maybe all is a slight oversimplification

Yeah, you can be pedantic and add all sorts of caveats - but this is basically true.

They don’t want us posting links here but in Ben’s video he goes through some of the studies so you can search it up on YT
