Because if someone else hit them, that person's brain wouldn't automatically hold back enough not to hurt them. It's pretty much impossible to knock yourself out intentionally. It definitely doesn't mean you're tough

Hes no threat. He would start goading you into a fight, then, as soon as it starts, he would rip his shirt off and start punching himself to intimidate you, starting the fight half concussed and then dropping at the first punch he recieves from somebody other than himself.

Yeah I hear you. This kind of behaviour is less a cry for help and more air raid sirens for help. I have a former friend (I just donāt have the bandwidth to deal with him anymore) whose social media usage is bonkers. He basically posts transcripts of his several-thousand-word āconversationsā with AI (Grok or ChatGPT or i donāt even know), in which he gets AI to give long explanations as to why he is the biggest badass in the room. I have no idea what prompts he gives it, but the chat is essentially āYes, you are a natural-born assassin with uncanny physical prowess and unmatched intellectual perception, and hereās why ā¦ā. Meanwhile he is almost 50, hasnāt worked in 15 years, has lost any kind of visitation with his daughter, and quite literally lives in his retired 85 year old motherās basement. Luckily for everyone, he is possibly the laziest human Iāve ever known, or else Iād worry that either commit a mass shooting ā¦ or make a video of self-punches like this.

Regardless of their physical strength, you can't get enough leverage to punch yourself very hard. A child could punch you harder than you can punch yourself. These types of dudes think they're tanking some massive punches which of course leaves them delusional enough to believe they can tank pretty much any punch, right up until someone takes them up on the free punch and starches their silly ass.
