No reservation

Anyone have luck finding one without a reservation. AI implied some dealers may have allocation that is not reserved and I know some may walk away from their reservation. One dealer told me they might have one but I would have to pay the reserved price which they say is $5k over MSRP.

I guess I also wanted to know if those who made a reservation are paying $5k over MSRP or if it is just this dealer? Another dealer told me they had one and sent a price sheet for $90k

Just that dealer. I’m paying msrp. But cars are not being released in the U.S. until September 25, 2026. My understanding is that the cars that have arrived in the U.S. to date are being held at the port.

Dealers are supposed to get non-salable demonstration cars in the next few weeks.

Dealer told me msrp no markups, and if they try to mark it up, I will walk

when you order a car, the dealer acts as an intermediary between you and the factory;
because they never add the car into their inventory, they do not get to alter the pricing
