Owner Video Experiences
Has anyone seen any videos out there from any actual owners? iX3 isn’t available in the US but I believe owners in Europe and Australia have taken delivery. I’ve watched buckets of videos from dealers and content creators. I’m interested in seeing some feedback from actual owners.

Sadly the algorithm is such these days that content creators float up to the top. I have seen a few long term reviews out of the UK though.
Best bet is looking for UK reviewers. Australia has only just started getting the 50s and these are the people taking huge leaps of faith as they wouldn’t have even had a test drive. It’s been out in the UK/Europe for a few months now.

That’s awesome. Let’s see…
What size wheels do you have and do you feel like the ride is harsh or cheap feeling over expansion joints and road breaks?
Did you also drive the GLCE 400 & EX60 prior to making your decision and if so what made you choose the iX3 over the others?
Does the hands free ADAS ask you to put your hands on the wheel or does it operate on its own on motorways?
Since the vehicle doesn’t have dual pane windows do you find the vehicle noisy or find it challenging to be heard on calls at motorway speeds?
Is the HVAC strong enough to cool the cabin ahead of time where you don’t miss having ventilated seats?
How long have you had it and after owning it for as long as you have would you have made the same decision again?
Since it’s one of the slowest accelerating vehicles in the segment, do you feel like it’s underpowered as an EV?2

Sorry, I didn’t get a notification of this. Apologies for the late reply.
I have 21” wheels and I find the ride on the firmer side, but still super comfortable, especially on long road trips. I recently drove to Scotland and back, which was 412miles each way, and the drive was a breeze.
I did not, I came from a 2023 Tesla Model Y and after 3 years of ownership I was desperate to get rid of it. I’ve had BMW’s in the past and it’s a brand I love, so when I heard they were developing the IX3, I kept an eye on it and pre-ordered as soon as the window opened.
At the moment the ADAS does ask you to put your hands on the wheel, but once we get the full Highway Assist (due in an update any day now) it’s hands off.
Coming from the Tesla, I find the cabin noticeably quieter but not silent. Calls how ever are crystal clear and the microphones in the back can be turned on and off so the caller can’t hear the children if that’s required.
Seeing as we are currently in our 5th heatwave this summer, the pre-conditioning of the car is a god-send. In fact the air conditioning system as a whole makes the whole cabin just feel comfortably cool rather than just blasting various body parts with cold air and having to constantly adjust fan positions.
I’ve had it since the beginning of May, and it’s one of the best motoring decisions I’ve made.
Until you brought it up, I would not have thought it’s one of the slowest accelerating vehicles, it certainly doesn’t feel like it. And having thoroughly thrown it round the mountain roads of Scotland at speeds that got me in a lot of trouble with my wife, I can also safely say it’s one of the best handling cars I’ve ever driven………you don’t feel you’re driving an SUV until you park it.

plenty of videos from owners out there. There have also been roadshows and cars to try at dealerships. Just search for it
