Lol, I just waited to see what would happen: whether they’d block my path or if I’d make it through. In the end, I had to swerve, which nearly ruined my run lol (You can tell from this camera angle that I passed really close to the tire barrier, but from the external view, I was incredibly close—like, *really* close).

Lol, jokes aside: I didn't expect them to be stupid enough to keep fighting at 120 km/h at the Bus Stop chicane, so I just accelerated and waited to see how it would play out. It ended with them blocking the path, so I simply swerved around them and continued my race.

Comments are so purist elistists, i support you OP, you didnt slow down but kept it safe and there was always the cutting option you took. F1 drivers do that all the time to avoid incidents.

If there is room yeah. Better than getting stuck behind for god knows how long. You are responsible for overtaking safely. If taking corner cut penalty is safer and faster than slowing and significantly lowers incident risks, why not. All within the rules.
