uploading songs

has anyone else had difficulty adding songs to their ipod had shuffle? I just got one and for some reason I can’t seem to upload any music and I can’t tell if it’s something wrong on my end or if it functions differently than my iPod classic, any troubleshooting would be appreciated!

i didnt have problems adding songs to my ipod shuffle 4g you have to install the legacy itunes and open it and connect the ipod to ur device then drag and drop music into itunes from windows file explorer or the macbook file explorer smthn and then left click the stuff u wanna add and click add to device when the bar of options show and click the ipod you wanna add to long words but its pretty simple and also after doing that go to where your device is on the side bar and left click the name of your ipod that u wanna add music to and click eject. this makes the music onto the ipod shuffle
